Steps to Success
The Steps to Success program assists students in time management, goal setting, study skills and values exploration.
The College sponsors academic support services such as The Learning Center, which offers tutoring in math, reading, writing and study skills. Many academic departments offer tutoring as well.

Elmhurst College provides program accessibility and reasonable accommodations for persons defined as disabled in Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
Students Having Difficulties

Students who are experiencing difficulty are referred by faculty or staff to the committee, which identifies a representative best positioned to intervene and assist the student.

The assistant dean of students will focus on students’ social and academic integration as well as their commitments to the institution; he or she also evaluates the effectiveness of student retention efforts in meeting the needs of students and achieving institutional goals.
